Alloy 201(UNS N02201/N4) is a commercial pure nickel forging alloy strengthened by solid solution, which has high toughness. The maximum carbon content of alloy 201 is low, which makes the material resistant to graphitization and therefore not easy to embrittlement. In sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, anhydrous hydrofluoric acid and non aerated organic acid. Alloy 201 can resist stress corrosion cracking in chloride and corrosion of non oxidizing halide.
