Alloy 825 (UNS N08825) is a nickel chromium alloy with molybdenum added, as well as copper. It has excellent resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and local corrosion, such as pitting and crevice corrosion.
Alloy 825 is especially suitable for resistance to sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid.
It has good ductility and can be easily formed by all conventional methods.
