WN/SO/BL Flange of Nickel Alloy 625/ UNS N06625 Used for Pipe Connection

Short Description:

Alloy 625 has excellent strength at temperatures up to 816℃. At higher temperatures, its strength is generally lower than that of other solid solution strengthened alloys. Alloy 625 has good oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 980℃ and shows good resistance to aqueous corrosion, but is relatively moderate compared to other more capable corrosion resistant alloys.

c) More precise dimension

d) Perfect inspection method and inspection equipment

Slip-On Flange:

Slip-on flange also called SO flange. It is a flange that slides on the pipe with an intenal design slightly larger than the pipe.

It is used to insert the pipe into the inner bore of the flange.

Weld Neck Flange:

Weldneck flange bore is machined to match the ID of the pipe or fitting. This creates a smooth transition to and from the weld neck flange and prevents turbulence at the welding neck. Hence it is important to specify the pipe schedule at the time of buying a weld neck flange.

Features: Alloy 625 has excellent strength at temperatures up to 816℃.

Applications: Chemical process industry and sea water application. Inconel 625 is used in short term applications at temperatures up to 816℃. For long term service, it is best restricted to a maximum of 593℃, because long term exposure above 593℃ will result in significant embrittlement.
