Alloy 400 (UNS N04400) has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in neutral and alkaline salts. It is made of high-strength nickel copper alloy. Due to the high nickel content, this alloy is not affected by stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride and does not produce cracks. The alloy also has good mechanical properties in the temperature range from minus to 549 ° C.
